Questions
Who pays the card processing fee?
Stripe charges its own processing fee (about 2.9% + 30¢ for Canadian cards) to the organizer. Organizers can offset it with a service fee of up to 4%.
What is the founding offer?
On an organizer's first 3 shows that take card payments, GrailRoute keeps nothing and no service fee is charged. A show counts when its first card payment starts.
Do buyers see the service fee before paying?
Yes. Every ticket and table price on GrailRoute already includes it, and the checkout lists it as its own line. Nothing is added at the last step.
What happens when someone is refunded?
Refunds follow the organizer's own rules. The service fee is refunded in the same proportion as the price, and GrailRoute gives back its share the same way.
Can organizers take payment another way?
Yes. Cash, e-transfer or anything else is free: mark the table or ticket as paid and GrailRoute takes nothing.
What currency?
Canadian dollars. Card payments through GrailRoute start on November 10, 2026.
Prices in Canadian dollars. The full rules are in the Vendor & Organizer Terms.
